Shakeb Hamdard is the first person to ever win the Afghan Star competition. Beating heavy competition, he succeeded winning the final votes and the hearts of all Afghans. Since his win two years ago, Shakeb has successfully released a number of songs and video clips, which many of you have no doubt seen. Read on to find out more about what Shakeb is doing now.

Shakeb signed a contract with Barbud Music and has been working on his first CD. It is expected the CD will come out the second week of November 2007. Just stay tuned to Barbud Music's website and you will find out about the impending release soon.
